Moodboard Monday: Bold & Trustworthy
It’s moodboard Monday! Join me here every other Monday to explore a new moodboard, which is one of my favorite parts of the branding process. It’s the piece that gives life to the feelings and sensations you want to evoke when someone experiences your brand. When you stir up those genuine feelings, you prime your ideal client or customer to resonate with what you have to offer, even if they haven’t read a word about you yet.
This week’s moodboard is bold and dramatic. The deep blue feels timeless and the rich yellow adds a warm touch. This palette would be perfect for an established brand that is focused and perhaps more on the serious side.
The kind of brand or business I envision using this moodboard: This board would be great for a financial business or lawyer. The mood feels very confident and trustworthy, while still conveying an approachable vibe.
The feelings I wanted to evoke in this moodboard: Strong, uncompromising, and decisive.
The visual I had in mind while building this: A small law office focused on helping creative entrepreneurs navigate through the legal side of their business. This brand needs to feel trustworthy and straight-forward, and be simply beautiful to resonate with their creative clientele.
