Moodboard: Romantic & Classic

Mood board creation is one of my favorite parts of the branding process. It’s the piece that gives life to the feelings and sensations you want to evoke when someone experiences your brand. When you stir up those genuine feelings, you prime your ideal client or customer to resonate with what you have to offer, even if they haven’t read a word about you yet.

By sharing monthly moodboards and explaining the thought process behind the chosen images, I hope to inspire anyone who is creating their own moodboard either for a visual brand or another creative project.

Let’s jump into this month’s moodboard! This board is romantic, intuitive, and classic. The soft color palette is neutral and very calming. I can see this brand using texture and a beautiful serif font to carry through the classic feel. This moodboard would be perfect for a brand that embodies a lot of feminine energy, maybe a jewelry brand or a florist.

Brand Traits: Romantic, intuitive, calm, graceful, and classic.

Who this moodboard is perfect for: This color palette and moodboard is perfect for a business that is very intuitive, flowy, and embraces a lot of feminine energy. While the color palette is soft and romantic, the brand is balanced with darker neutrals and grounded with the strong serif font.
