Moodboard: Airy & Spiritual

Mood board creation is one of my favorite parts of the branding process. It’s the piece that gives life to the feelings and sensations you want to evoke when someone experiences your brand. When you stir up those genuine feelings, you prime your ideal client or customer to resonate with what you have to offer, even if they haven’t read a word about you yet.

By sharing monthly moodboards and explaining the thought process behind the chosen images, I hope to inspire anyone who is creating their own moodboard either for a visual brand or another creative project.

Let’s jump into this month’s moodboard! This board is light, airy, and has a little bit of a mystical feel to it. I was excited to explore this style because it’s a bit different from anything I’ve done before. The colors are more muted which creates a graceful and laidback mood. As I was collecting these images, I was thinking about a spiritual or wellness brand, maybe one that incorporates a community or group aspect.

Brand Traits: Airy, light, graceful, spiritual, community, and balanced.

Who this moodboard is perfect for: A wellness business that leans a bit to the spiritual side. There is some fun color, but overall the mood of this brand is very light and bright. The sand texture and darker colors ground the palette and create balance.
